Meet Kitra. He was going to be my entry for Motsumi's contest over on Y!Gallery but he went...um...horribly wrong. *cough*

See, I know Motsumi likes the large snakes, and since Anjay's a 'conda and the ex-mother-of-his-son was a Burmese, I thought "Hey! I can do a retic! I've done one before and...um...a tiger retic would be easier marking wise, right? Right?"

...For the record, no, they aren't really easier.

However, complicated wasn't the problem. The problem was that when I was a child, my step brother had a reticulated python. Her name was Kitara - Kit for short.

She was a psychotic bitch.

Perhaps it's that she spoiled my veiw of retics forever. Perhaps it's the fact that Kitra's horns remind me of Larxene from KH:CoM. Whatever the reason, he wound up less a fit mate than he did arch nemisis.

Okay, maybe he's not THAT bad, but he's the sort of drama queen who will sit there and bait you and drool over you and be all lecherous and predatory until you tell him to go away -

- at which point he'll demand to know what's wrong with him and wail that he isn't pretty enough and that you don't love him.

Anjay doesn't need that.

So I may try again later. In the meantime, if anyone wants a psychotic drama queen to play with...have a Kitra.
